The staff tends to start frequenting local stores like France 44 and Surdyk’s this time of year in search of the Oktoberfest brews. Now that September is here, most breweries have released our favorite seasonal. Our favorite (in terms of presentation) this year is from Paulaner. Whoever thought of the new 1 liter can should be thanked!
The Paulaner 1 liter can was as delicious as it looks
The photo does not do justice to the size of the can. It fits perfectly into a Paulaner 1 liter dimpled Isar stein and is sold as a kit at select stores (more on the can, stein combo to come).
Get your liver ready for the trip to Munich this year for Oktoberfest 2011 and pick up the Paulaner can at your local store.

It’s not new. I bought a can/stein combo at my first Oktoberfest in 2008. That’s at least 3 years old of an idea.
