Oktoberfest is popular all over the world! Check out this fun story about Oktoberfest’s “Italian Weekend.” Every year over 200,000 Italians visit Oktoberfest, including 75,000 during just its second weekend. So many Italians come to the festival that the Munich police have taken to importing some Italian police officers for some extra help!
OktoberfestHaus doesn’t have any Italian items per se, but we do have a bunch of Alpine Hats – the Alps bordering both Germany and Italy – including this Alpine hat with the colors of the Italian flag.

Check out these great pictures from Oktoberfest Munchen 2011!
OktoberfestHaus has some of the great items featured in these photos.
1 Liter Dimpled Glass Beer Stein (featured in picture 2)
A whole collection of party hats, including an almost identical hat to the plush Oktoberfest Keg hat in picture 6!
Beer mug glasses (featured in picture 8 )
And everything in picture 9. We have the Spaten 1 liter steins, and all types of dirndls and lederhosen to fit your needs!
Judging from these pictures, Oktoberfest 2011 sure looked like a blast this year! We wish we could’ve been there, drinking all that German beer, playing some hammerschlagen, and meeting all those great great-looking frauleins. Were you there? Tell us how it was in the comments!

Doesn't this look like a blast?!
The Official Oktoberfest Munchen is over, but the we’re still seeing new stories about all the fun had this year. Like this one, for instance, about the Bayern Munich Soccer Team attending the annual festival. For those not up on their Bundesliga stats, Bayern is crushing it so far this year – at the top of the standings in both the Bundesliga and their Champions League group. They took time out of their busy schedule to stop by Oktoberfest. Watch the video here to see the team in their lederhosen, eating sausages, and–wait–is that a 1 liter dimpled Paulaner beer stein? By golly, I think it is!
The start of Oktoberfest also means that fall is right around the corner, if it hasn’t come to your area already. As the temperature starts to drop it’s time to put your summer clothes away and bring out your warmer clothing from the depths of your closet. What better way to celebrate Oktoberfest and colder temperatures than with this stylish Hofbrauhaus navy windbreaker? It has a 100% nylon shell and a 100% polyester lining, so at least in this case it won’t be just the beer that’s keeping you warm.

There are only 6 left in stock, so get yours now before we run out!
Oktoberfest started on Saturday, and judging by these pictures it looks like a blast! If you’re looking at the photos, or if you’re wandering around the actual festival, and you’re wondering where all those revelers got those hip Hofbrauhaus Munchen dimpled steins, they probably got them at OktoberfestHaus! We have the 1.0 liter Hofbrauhaus stein plus lots more Hofbrauhaus gear. Check out this new Oktoberfest t-shirt that would go great with a stein.

How exactly does this work?

Oktoberfest starts Saturday. But don’t worry, it runs until October 3rd, so there’s still time to make it to Munich and get your feel of beer, brats and pretzels. If you can’t make it to Germany this year there’s probably an Oktoberfest party happening in your area, all it takes is a little searching.

3 days to Oktoberfest. How are you celebrating? We here at OktoberfestHaus have stocked our fridge with local Oktoberfest microbrews, like Summit Oktoberfest and New Glarus Staghorn Oktoberfest. But our favorite beer to drink this time of year is the Paulaner Oktoberfest, which is one of the six brews you can get at the original Oktoberfest in Munich! While you’re there you can visit the actual breweries of Paulaner and the famous Hofbrauhaus. Then check out OktoberfestHaus.com for all your Paulaner and Hofbrauhaus merchandise.
